The logistics and industrial sector changes with the times and as real-estate experts, we’re helping our clients to adapt with that change – from ‘last post’ facilities to transforming out of town locations.
We advise investors, landlords and tenants to get the best result from their new ventures – whether securing an anchor tenant or remodelling their estates. Our clients are looking for experienced surveyors that can help improve the value of their property portfolios, prepare for anchor tenants and ensure a seamless exit through well managed dilapidations programmes.
We’re known for our high-performance dilapidations’ settlements. We are experts in construction delivery programmes and we take a hands-on responsive and tenacious approach so that landlord and tenant can reach a mutual agreement.

We also specialise in planned maintenance programmes on large scale prime location retail developments, for example One New Change in the City of London and the landmark Argent scheme at Kings Cross, the largest mixed-use development in single ownership to be developed in central London for over 150 years.
Our major contracts also include Lewisham Shopping Centre, a mixed use out of town facility, inner city locations like new Oxford Street, new Bond Street, Elsinore House and Cheapside where we led, and project managed major refurbishments on behalf of our clients Including AXA, Landsec and Royal London.
We’re expert surveyors and project managers for the data centre sector. We are the surveyors that delivered the first BREAAM excellent 80MW scheme in the UK.
Working with the sector’s leading operators, institutional funds and developers, we guide our clients on everything from acquisition of land and identifying optimum locations to securing the critical power needed.
By combining our knowledge of data centre requirements with real estate practices and legislation, we can help to reduce risk by deploying effective construction phasing models and life-cycle modelling. We are experts in leading diverse teams of specialist consultants using the latest industry technology – from BIM 360 to gaming solutions.
Hotel & Leisure
We support our hotel and leisure clients by enabling them to realise their vision – whether creating new state-of-the-art hotel accommodation, refurbishment and fit-out or managing long-term maintenance programmes.
For hotels, our chartered surveyors work with global investors, developers and operators across the UK and Europe delivering tens of thousands of rooms. To date, we have been involved in some of the most prestigious and iconic projects – from the St Regis Hotel in Rome to Le Meridian Etoile in Paris and projects in Amsterdam and Lake Como.
In leisure, our projects are diverse and we’re proud to be the surveyors of the oldest giraffe house in the world at London Zoo. Working with a range of building types from heritage and grade listed to modern facilities, we are recommended by our clients for providing technical due diligence, development monitoring and 10-year maintenance programmes – protecting our clients as they plan for the future of their investment or operation.
We work with public bodies like Transport for London (TfL) and the corporate occupiers operating from facilities such as car dealerships.
The transport sector is constantly changing and improving, which means much of our work is in Contract Administration/Project Management, dilapidations, condition surveys, planned preventative maintenance, and development monitoring. There are many building types, from Grade II listed sites to bright and luxurious car show rooms, with complex lighting and structures.
Whether you are landlord or tenant, our expertise will give you the reassurance that anything is possible as long as you have trusted advice from one of London’s leading Chartered Surveyors. Our most recent examples of significant transport contracts include the renovation of Victoria Arcade for TfL, a Grade II listed development with retail and other public buildings, and the refurbishment of High Street Kensington underground station and Parsons Green Depot.
Our healthcare experience stems from one of our first projects, The Royal Hospital Chelsea – a retirement home and nursing home for some 300 veterans of the British Army. By their very nature, healthcare buildings bring their own challenges from Grade I listed sites to construction delivery, where patients or residents are in occupation.
Healthcare projects also have inherent financial challenges, this together with balancing the needs of stakeholders can put pressure on decision makers. This is where our role as surveyors plays its part, from producing realistic planned preventative maintenance programmes to undertaking condition surveys and project managing major refurbishments within tight timescales and budgets. Healthcare tenants also require dilapidations services which we have provided in the past.
Our clients include Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MRHA), Duchy of Cornwall, Cambridge University Spec Savers as well as private building owners associated with healthcare buildings.
We offer building surveying services for residential property owners such as private investors, housing associations and freehold groups. Our involvement focusses on project management and design of planned works to common parts, refurbishment works to assist with lettings, statutory works (such as fire door replacement and cladding works) and due diligence required for sale / purchase of large freeholds. We represent public authorities, housing associations, property management firms, and a number of private funds; always ensuring that various stakeholders (freeholders, leaseholders, and tenants) are respected throughout the process.
Since the tragedy of Grenfell, the importance of fire safety has become paramount to residential blocks. Our specialist project managers successfully deliver major schemes to replace defective cladding on behalf of freeholders and groups requiring urgent works. It is important for financial forecasting and service charge budgets to plan ahead when carrying out works to common areas, such as cladding and external decorations. We are able to forecast, and plan works in advance by producing Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules for our clients and complete the works with our project management and contract administration professionals using the JCT suite of contacts and provide a recommendation for a suitable contractor from our extensive network.
We only offer residential due diligence surveys for commercial clients which usually form an investment freehold interest, not for private homeowners. Our clients include Hastoe Group, Valore Real Estate, LRM, Knight Frank and Argent, to name a few.
We have experience working on broad range of education projects including new build and refurbishment works nationwide, where the key objectives include meeting government and environmental targets.
As well as project work, our professional services team have been undertaking professional instructions on school and university buildings from recently constructed facilities to complex building types such as Grade listed sites and heavily dilapidated sites.
Examples of projects include our work at Newbury College where we were Contract Administrator on a new build extension, providing a state-of-the-art engineering laboratory and at Southampton University where we undertook the pre-acquisition survey of an existing tower block to ensure the were no significant risks ahead of purchase.
