HartDixon initially provided dilapidations services, preparing a terminal schedule of dilapidations and negotiating a settlement with the outgoing Tenant on behalf of the Landlord.
We were then instructed to provide Contract Administration services to undertake extensive reinstatement and refurbishment works to this large industrial unit. As part of the project we were asked to incorporate sustainability measures and to decarbonise the building, these works included the removal of gas-fired appliances, installation of VRF heating and cooling, electric water heaters, LED lighting, solar photovoltaic panels, electric car charger points and new end of trip facilities to encourage cycling as a means of transportation for the end user.
The works ultimately enabled the client to achieve an EPC A rating for the building.
HartDixon is known for acting as a credible and excellent project lead. We will manage the team, administer the works both practically and financially to completion.

Chris joined HartDixon in September 2014. He was previously at Rider Levett Bucknall and Lambert Smith Hampton, where he gained extensive experience in the commercial property sector with a strong focus on contract administration and dilapidations across a variety of sectors.
