Supporting delivery with consistency and care: Project Management & Contract Administration

In a built environment shaped by shifting requirements, evolving ESG benchmarks and the pressures of time and cost, clear project leadership has never been more valuable. Working within this fast-evolving sector, our Project Management and Contract Administration experts provide a confident approach, delivering structured support, technical insight, and commercial awareness from project inception to completion.

We’re trusted by institutional landlords, wealth funds and developers to represent their interests and co-ordinate project teams with care.

A direct, collaborative approach shaped by experience

We believe that well-managed projects are underpinned by consistent leadership. Our team stays close to the detail while keeping the wider programme in view, ensuring decisions are timely, co-ordinated and based on clear information. This approach is grounded in practicality, technical knowledge and a detailed understanding of stakeholder needs.

Whether it’s a large-scale data centre, a city skyline monument, the refurbishment of a listed building or managing a CAT B fit out in a tight urban footprint, we take a grounded, proactive approach, focused on reducing complexity, enabling clear communication, and supporting well-timed, informed decision-making.

Recent examples include:

This CAT-B fit-out of a 6,500 sqft split-level office took place in a heritage building in Mayfair, London. Tasked with creating a bespoke headquarters that balance modern functionality with historic character, we successfully delivered a collaborative workspace featuring open-plan areas, focused zones, and private offices. Operating within a tight programme aligned with the client’s relocation, we co-ordinated all stakeholders to ensure timely delivery. The result is a high-quality, flexible workspace that reflects the client’s identity and supports their long-term vision.

Our work at Piccadilly Circus involved the landmark redevelopment of Piccadilly Lights, home to the world’s first high definition 4K curved screen. As one of London’s most iconic locations, the project demanded innovative thinking and a highly bespoke approach. A key challenge was delivering complex structural and service works that allowed the building behind the screen to be demolished, all while keeping the new screen fully operational. Our co-ordination and strategic planning ensured the successful delivery of this technically demanding, high-profile project at one of the city’s most recognised addresses.

We were proud to be involved with the £17m refurbishment and regeneration of Bishops Square in Spitalfields Market. Spanning retail, office, and external landscaping works, this 24-month project transformed a key area of the estate into a cohesive commercial hub. Our role involved co-ordinating a complex construction programme, integrating innovative design, and managing multiple stakeholders, including the design team, contractors, estate management, and the local community. Drawing on our technical expertise, we supported the client through a challenging contract and ensured the successful delivery of this high-profile regeneration scheme.

This landmark redevelopment required a careful balance of environmental remediation, community impact, and future-focused technology. Key challenges included extensive site contamination, proximity to critical infrastructure like Network Rail and TfL, and the delivery of an 80MW power supply via a 6km, £18m 132kV connection. Our project management expertise ensured seamless coordination across stakeholders, including early collaboration with NTT to manage over 70 design variations.

Consistency clients can rely on

We take pride in the long-term relationships we’ve built. Over 80% of our project management work comes from repeat clients, reflecting the confidence placed in our people, our process and the outcomes we help to deliver.

Our team includes experienced chartered surveyors, engineers and project managers, many of whom have been with HartDixon for years. We prioritise continuity across all stages of a project, ensuring that knowledge is retained and expectations are met.

Supporting today’s priorities

Modern projects require more than a traditional programme and cost control. We work closely with clients to support a broader set of objectives, whether that’s ESG compliance, tenant experience, or futureproofing an asset.

As part of our wider consultancy offering, we bring in-house expertise across technical due diligence, lifecycle costing, and planned maintenance strategies, ensuring each project benefits from a comprehensive view.

Our Project Management and Contract Administration service is shaped by experience, defined by consistency, and strengthened by collaboration.

If you’re planning a project or would like to discuss how we can support a future asset strategy, we’d welcome the conversation.
