We’re really pleased to give you a sneak peek at what’s occurring at Devonshire Square!

Our office refurbishment works, which started on September 18th and will take six weeks to complete is going to be a stunning makeover.

Our vision for the revamp is to create a new space that showcases our own fit-out expertise – providing inspiring places for teams to come together to enjoy life at work.

Working with talented fit-out designer Nick Jordan from Studio Jordan for the concept design and Gemco Contracts for the construction works – both of whom are experts in bringing visions like ours to life- it will be the first time our business has undergone infrastructure works like this.

What’s driving this transformation? In line with our own customers, we’re adapting to a new landscape of working environments, and this fit-out scheme will be a combination of small and private workspaces with expansive breakout areas that allow teams to be more productive or give them an opportunity to collaborate at scale. In addition, all of the modern finishes, right down to the technology will create a contemporary, inspiring and dynamic space.

Project Manager and Senior Associate Partner, Jon Forth expresses his thoughts “Over the past two years HartDixon has grown exponentially and, in the last 12 months, we have welcomed nine new surveyors. To stay ahead, it is important we create an environment and sense of place for our whole team to be inspired, excel and enjoy coming to work.”

In line with HartDixon’s carbon reduction commitments, waste management and responsible recycling have been well thought through. Through Gemco, Lawman’s are undertaking the waste disposal for the project. They are committed to 90%+ recycling of all waste. The existing furniture has been collected by Gemco, where it will go to new homes or be repurposed. “Nothing will go to waste.” Jon adds

Partnering Jon is Partnership Secretary, Jackie Buckley. Expressing the importance of having one place where the team can collaborate, Jackie endorses the vision – “The new office will exude warmth and welcoming vibes. We envision a space that we’re proud to bring clients and our friends in the industry. It has been brilliant to see such growth and new faces coming on board – we want our good people to stay and this is an important part of the recruitment strategy too.” Do stay tuned for more updates as our office transformation journey continues. We’ll be sharing photos and we cannot wait to unveil our revamped workspace via a launch breakfast.
