HartDixon acted as Building Owners Surveyor in connection with notifiable works under the Party Wall etc. Act, following a significant refurbishment of 8 Lincolns Inn Fields, a Grade II listed legal chambers in the heart of Holborn – the city’s principal legal district. The property was being transformed into the new London Headquarters for MKS PAMP Group. Our role included advising on phased awards to mitigate programme delays and enable works to progress efficiently. We also led extensive discussions with the project team around the lift shaft, specifically the notifiable impact of removing the existing frame, and provided strategic advice relating to sensitive adjoining owners.
HartDixon is known for acting as a credible and excellent project lead. We will manage the team, administer the works both practically and financially to completion.
Max joined HartDixon in August 2021 after becoming a chartered surveyor in June 2021. He was previously at AKSWard where he gained experience in a wide variety of commissions. Max specialises in contact administration and project management, defects diagnosis, planned preventative maintenance programmes and party wall.
