Value: Undisclosed
Location: The Storehouse, Briggate, Leeds
Project Type: Development Appraisal and Development Monitoring
Duration: 2.5 years
Sector: Purpose built student accommodation (PBSA) and Retail
The Storehouse comprises a 429 bed high-end student accommodation scheme with 21,000 sq ft of retail now let to retailers Victoria’s Secret and Uniqlo in the heart of the city centre. The student accommodation is finished to a boutique-hotel standard, while the retail space benefits from generous double-height frontages spread across two floors.
This was a complex project on a highly constrained city-centre site, delivered over a 2.5 year programme with a tolerance of just four weeks before students began occupation. Despite the challenges, the team achieved practical completion on time, creating a landmark mixed-use scheme that sets a new benchmark for quality and delivery in Leeds.
HartDixon provided development appraisal and monitoring services from acquisition and inception through to completion.
