Given the heightened sensitivity around fire safety, ensuring robust fire strategies for these schemes—being over 18 metres in height—was critical. Our task was to verify that both the fire safety measures and the fire-engineered provisions were correctly installed and properly maintained. During our surveys, we uncovered significant issues with backup power systems and automatic smoke ventilation. However, these were promptly assessed and addressed as a condition of the purchase. We also took on the responsibility of project managing the necessary remedial works.
HartDixon is known for acting as a credible and excellent project lead. We will manage the team, administer the works both practically and financially to completion.

Huw joined HartDixon in 2013.
