HartDixon were the Contract Administrators on the internal and external refurbishment works of 29 Belgrave Square, a Grade II listed building which was the former base of the educational arm of the Saudi Embassy. The Square dates back to 1825 and it is the building where Winston Churchill was first inaugurated into the cabinet in 1906.
Our project was over eight floors, with a construction value of £1.2million. The site was in a poor state of repair and the client was in danger of losing their long leasehold as a result. Our surveyors were appointed to undertake a condition survey and then project manage the works on behalf of the Saudi Arabian Cultural Attache so that they would no longer be at risk of losing their leasehold interest in the property.
HartDixon is known for acting as a credible and excellent project lead. We will manage the team, administer the works both practically and financially to completion.
Stuart founded HartDixon in 2008. A Chartered Building Surveyor for over 20 years, he specialises in project management. Stuart works primarily on private sector projects, ranging from large mixed use Central London cut and carve schemes to out-of-town new build industrial sheds. Before HartDixon, Stuart had started up and ran the London Commercial Building Consultancy office for the Frankham Consultancy Group. Before that he worked for DTZ on commercial projects and building surveying services.
